In its update today, Anthropic revealed new “organization-wide controls” to help corporate teams deploy its autonomous Claude Cowork service. Meanwhile, OpenAI took a different path, slashing the cost of the “Pro” subscription to access its popular Codex programming tools.

OpenAI has added plugin support to its agentic coding app Codex in an apparent attempt to match similar features offered by competitors Anthropic (in Claude Code) and Google (in Gemini’s command line interface).

OpenAI is building MYTHOS, a restricted cybersecurity model under trusted access for select partners, based on GPT-5.3 Codex.
